This Privacy Policy describes how Jacob Donnelly, LCSW ("I," "me," "my") handles information collected through this website, jacoblcsw.com (the "Site").

Important: This policy applies to the Site only. The privacy of your protected health information as a therapy client is governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA), which is provided to clients at intake. This Site is not used to provide therapy or to transmit protected health information.

Information you provide: If you use the contact form, I collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, your preferred method of contact, and any message you choose to include. Please do not include sensitive personal health information in the contact form, as it is not a secure or confidential channel.

Information collected automatically: This Site is hosted on Squarespace, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect standard analytics information, such as pages visited, general location, device and browser type, and how visitors arrive at and navigate the Site. This helps me understand how the Site is used.

How I Use Information

I use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and, if appropriate, to schedule a consultation. I use automatically collected analytics information to understand and improve the Site. I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising or email marketing.

How Information Is Stored and Shared

Contact form submissions are sent to my email and [stored within Squarespace's systems — confirm in your form's Storage settings]. The Site relies on third-party service providers, including Squarespace (website hosting and analytics), to operate. These providers process data on my behalf under their own privacy and security practices. Scheduling and clinical services are handled through separate systems (for example, my booking and practice-management platform), which maintain their own privacy practices.

I will not share the information you submit except: with service providers as needed to operate the Site; if required by law; or to protect safety.
